WAN 2.2 SVI PRO v4 – First & Last Frame Video Generation — update 01.03.26

Hi folks, this is CCS

quick addition to the previous posts.

Please refer to the previous post for a more in-depth breakdown of the pipeline before proceeding to this post and accessing the workflow

WHAT’S NEW

I just uploaded v4 which includes two new nodes working together:

WanImageMotionPro now has a new widget called end_overshoot_slots

and a companion node WanMotionProTrimmer is added right after the sampler.

The idea is simple: when you use a first+last frame setup, the end frame used to cause a hard freeze at the tail of the clip — the model was forced to land exactly on it. With end_overshoot_slots=1, the generation window extends by 4 hidden frames beyond what you see, so the model converges toward the end image naturally instead of snapping to it.

The trimmer then cuts those hidden frames before VAE decode, so your output length stays exactly what you set.

All values are pre-configured in v4 — just load and run.

p.s. Of course, these are raw workflows with spaghetti links. If you want to keep your workspace clean, just press “Convert All Links” in the AutoLink node (inside IAMCCS-nodes).

If you’d like to take a deeper look at how the pipeline actually works under the hood, you can check out the full breakdown available to supporters. The Patreon posts go step by step through the structure, node logic, and implementation details, so you can really understand what’s happening rather than just using it as a black box.

Feel free to explore both the previous workflow and this one, and to dive into the node functions to see what works best for your specific needs.
